Land Donated for Oklahoma School
November 11, 2020
Rausch Coleman Homes is thankful for the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work. We were excited to help out in Yukon and donate the land for this awesome new school - Redstone Intermediate!
The 120,000 square-foot building was ready for students for the 2020 school year. The building houses students in 4th - 6th grades.
The new school, which is located on 15 acres of donated land at the corner of Britton Road and Mustang Road, was built to house up to 900 students, Superintendent Dr. Jason Simeroth said.“It is a great location,” the superintendent said.
Larrissa Lockwood, Communications Specialist at Yukon Schools said support from local businesses helps meet the needs of Yukon families.
“Yukon Public Schools strives to meet the needs of our families and support from businesses like Rausch Coleman Homes makes that possible. Their land donation saved the district substantial money by providing the acreage for Redstone Intermediate, which opened in the fall of 2020.” Lockwood said.
“The donation will continue to serve as a foundation for learning, growth, and kindness for years to come. Thank you, Rausch Coleman!”
