Arkansas Homebuilder Doubles Houston Footprint
September 30, 2020
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, August 19, 2020— Rausch Coleman Homes, Arkansas' largest residential homebuilder, continues Houston expansion with their second builder acquisition in 24 months. On July 17th, 2020 Rausch Coleman acquired GreenEco Builders, a longtime family-owned builder, based out of Katy, TX. The expansion increases Rausch Coleman Homes to more than 90 active new-home communities in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Alabama.
The acquisition will rapidly expand Rausch Coleman’s local operating footprint in the greater Houston area, scaling up to 19 total communities with the addition of GreenEco assets. The purchase will further serve the continued need for quality, affordable new home construction in the region, and ensure future growth in the mid-Southwest market and beyond to better reach and serve these buyers. Area home prices will start in the $170's.
John R. Rausch, Chairman and CEO, said, “We welcome GreenEco Builders to the Rausch Coleman family. Their well-established building operations make GreenEco a great fit for Rausch Coleman as we broaden our market presence in Houston.”
Rausch Coleman continues to focus on superior customer experience, and this has afforded the company several AVID Ratings awards including this year’s AVID Gold Award for Superior Customer Service for the Oklahoma City Division, as well as AVID Benchmark Awards for Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma divisions.⌂
