"Service of the Second Mile" in Action

The months of September and October were extremely productive for Rausch Coleman Homes of Tulsa, and included several neighborhood-specific events, which gave back to the homeowners of their respective communities.

October 20 marked the Inaugural "Crossing at 91st Block Party", which was a joint partnership between the sales and construction teams in order to promote community pride and to enhance the quality of our community. Over 100 prospective and current homeowners along with realtors and brokers attended the two-day event.

Dawna Church and Bobbi Schacht were responsible for initiating and planning the entire event, from budgeting and contacting lenders for door prizes, to hiring a clown to blow up balloons for the kids. Dawna and Bobbie did an excellent job each step of the way.

Superintendents Jack Wood and Daniel Lane also deserve special recognition, as both willingly volunteered their Saturday afternoon in support of the Block Party, and spent the day setting up bales of hay, grilling hotdogs and anything else they could do to help make the event a success.

The party provided the perfect opportunity for homeowners to meet their neighbors for the first time in a fun and relaxing environment. Everyone who attended expressed their thanks for the opportunity to spend time with their neighborhoods.
